My name is Eric Crawford and I'm a high school student in the sunny state of Florida. I do really well at math and sciences and I think English classes are a waste of my time. I'm teaching myself how to program in Visual Basic (slowly, but steadily) and I'm obviously a beginner at HTML as well.

I like to do a variety of things in the little free time that I have. I like to play: board games (Risk and Monopoly are among my favorites), computer games (mostly strategic war games such as Warcraft II, Command & Conquer, Total Annihilation, and Age of Empires), and also role playing and fantasy games of all types (excluding that detestable card game Magic).

I like to play sports as well but I seldom watch them on TV. Basketball is my favorite sport to both watch and play and a friend is teaching me how to play tennis. I like to exercise, which is good, because my father makes sure to put me to work in our yard every weekend. There are a lot of woods around our house and I like nothing more than to go walking or riding a bike through them.

When I find a good author, reading is usually enjoyable too. Terry Goodkind is one of my favorite authors and I recommend that any lovers of the fantasy genre or role playing games read his Sword of Truth series. They are excellent novels. I love the medieval ages in general and almost anything with a sword and armor in it interests me. I collect all types of weapons, excluding firearms and I have quite a collection of bladed weapons already and some other miscellaneous ones.
